LGMA VILLAGES

Each Village has been set up for a special interest group within Local Government to provide a valuable forum for professionals to share information and knowledge, provide professional development opportunities, establish best practice standards across the sector and identify opportunities for expert input.

Each Village link contains the goals and objectives of the Village, a library containing interesting articles, references and templates, a section for News and Upcoming Events and an open forum for members to ask questions of the group and share information directly.

Each Village will have at least one networking event each year and can meet as regularly as required to discuss issues and share recent information and developments across the sector.

All Members of LGMA are welcome to join a Village for FREE as one of the many benefits of LGMA Queensland Membership. But for security, Members will be issued with a login and password. When you have joined a Village, your name, position, council and email will be included on the Village to enable ease of communication.

If you are not a Member of LGMA Queensland but would like to join one of the Villages, you will be required to complete the attached form and return to LGMA Queensland. You will have an LGMA Village Membership which is a yearly membership based on the financial year.

BUT, we welcome you to consider LGMA Membership and if you decide to become a Member of LGMA, we will discount your membership fee by $88.
