Thank you to JLT for supporting the Australasian Management Challenge once again. | Australasian Final The best performing team from each region will go on to compete in the Australasian Final which will be held in conjunction with the Local Government Professionals Australia National Congress in August 2021. The winner will be announced at the National Congress Gala Dinner & Awards night.

What is the Australasian Management Challenge?
The Australasian Management Challenge is an innovative development opportunity that is a convergence of ideas, energy, academic rigour and practical application – the elements which develop great leadership.
This programme is the premier forum for current and emerging local government leaders. It is a sophisticated development programme designed to deliver personal, team and organisational professional development.
The challenge has been running across Australia and New Zealand for more than 20 years. It is good fun, great value and a hands-on approach to leadership development that translates into relevant, tangible and enduring benefits for people, teams and organisations.
Everyone who participates in the Challenge – from experienced managers to emerging leaders, comes away with new and practical insights into excellence in leadership and management.
Australasian Management Challenge 2020 With COVID-19 disrupting the event, this year teams participated from their own councils and interacted virtually. The 2020 cohort will probably go down in history as the most challenged challengers! On behalf of JLT, Craig Hinchliffe announced the winners of the 2020 Australasian Management Challenge - Queensland on Thursday 27 August at the LGMA Queensland Awards for Excellence.
