Great discussion on 19th April. Topics covered included:
- Delegations for signing documents (s.236) and ensuring that you have all of the right delegations in place to ensure the CEO is not having to sign everything.
- Software to assist in managing delegations. There was a suggestion that we convene a session to look at the implementation of Reliansys and Folio in councils that are currently using.
- Rationalising policies - it seems a number of councils are currently undertaking rationalisation processes - feel free to share here as you work through your lists.
- Also work being done on Risk and Corporate Reporting.
- How to manage administrative action complaints - categorising and then responding.
- Internal audit and investigations training - opportunities to cross educate and even to undertake work cross council.
