Unreasonable Customer Conduct Policy

    North Burnett Regional Council recently adopted an Unreasonable Customer Conduct Policy.

    Prior to adoption the Policy was extensively workshopped internally, and was reviewed by the Office of the QLD Ombudsman, as well as a Human Rights Lawyer.

    Wondering if other Council's who have adopted such a Policy type felt it necessary, or obligated in some way, to have first consulted with the various Unions?

    Morning,  MRC drafted a similar policy some time ago.  Unfortunately it has never been finalised.

    Hi Michael. We developed an Unreasonable and Unacceptable Customer Conduct Procedure sometime ago. We didn't gauge any feedback from unions as it isn't considered an employment related procedure.
